Hello, I’m Tim

I’m a photographer and writer. I help companies create compelling visual stories that support their mission and values. I also create art centered on nature and place.

I began my career as a photojournalist, drawn to capturing authentic moments from everyday life — its challenges, celebrations, and quiet in-betweens. After a long chapter working in traditional business roles, I returned to photography and developed a multidisciplinary practice that spans documentary photography, fine art, and independent publishing.

My commercial and assignment work focuses on creating honest, visually engaging imagery that aligns with an organization’s identity. I collaborate with mission-driven clients — purpose-led brands, publishers, nonprofits — to create photography that resonates with their audience and reflects their values.

My personal work often explores themes of connection to place, particularly through images of wildlife, natural landscapes, and the emotional texture of the Southern environment.

I live in the American South and work on projects that combine photography, writing, and craft. Across all areas of my practice, I aim to make work that’s thoughtful, grounded, and rooted in attentive observation.
